Hi,

today i want to start to adjust the valve clearance but i noticed two problems

1. the intake cam have the wrong end, a gen.3 end but should have a gen.4 cam angle end

Image

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

2. the shim's i have are all to thick so i can't can adjust them without buying a lot of shim's, i decided to give the head the general toyota importer from austria to do the adjustment

here the specs of the camshafts

> - intake camshaft: #3180: 269°@0.1mm/235°@1.0mm/11.51mm/2.43mm@108°/vc
> 0.250mm
> - exhaust camshaft: #3175:
> 249°@0.1mm/215°@1.0mm/10.26mm/0.56mm@-116°/vc 0.250mm

Hi,

small update

2nd version of the fuel rail, now with damper

[img][/IMG]

slightly modified water outled, AN6 water connector for the turbo

[img][/IMG]

blanked throttle body connector

[img][/IMG]

and who knows a gen.3 water outlet know the difference, there are no 1000 sensor in it just one for the ECU and combi meter

[img][/IMG]

denso 850cc injectors

[img][/IMG]

that is it, i just hope to buy the turbocharger in january or february

Hi,

gen.3 do also have 3 sensors in front of emission laws but not in GB

- EFI
- Combi Meter
- carbon filter of the fuel tank

oh yes, the gen.2 is one step more horrible

gen.3 JDM have only the 2 first you list

having a second hole in the pipe for a BOSCH / VDO sensor is nice for an aftermarket dash / gauge.

Hi,

new post was comin in yesterday, gen5 throttle body and valve cover

Image

the intake manifold has to be machined to so that the TB fit and it could be hard but the IC will possible fit with the valve cover

Hi,

the issue is that i can't can use the gen.4 cover in conjunction with the water to air intercooler core, and as toyota went back to a center feed manifold on the gen.5 i decided to try it

i also can't can use the gen.3 as there are no threads for the COP's, but if the gen.5 won't fit i'll try to make them

we will see :)
