I keep meaning to say

I think the fuel return line needs a mechanical fixing to stop it vibrating. The thought of it wearing through from vibration is not a good one

Is the speedway bike yours?

Hi,

the new gears are here

Image

a comparison to the old ones

Image

the gears are great,

- 10mm head against a allen key
- granate pin
- two further wholes for a key to turn the camshaft

love them, hope they fit

This is set by the hydraulic tensioner.

If you have just fitted the belt, turn the engine over by hand and that should apply the correct tension across the belt and components

Hi,

i did a bit of part number comparison and found that i possible have the wrong tensioneer idler pulley
the issue is that i use the smaller gen.3 oil pump gear and the gen.4 uses the bigger one
possibible here is the problem.....

Hi,

thats from gen.2 to 3 :)

i got the problem, today i did a search for a old gen.3 idler and mounted it to the engine, now i have enough tension, have to pay another € for that but better then a engine death :)

do you possible has some pictures of an 3S-GTE with mounted gearbox especially the water outlet area?
need them for a better sight of thing in front of the coolant line routing for the turbo :)

Hi Kris,

thanks, but my engine stand show me the same
i'am just not sure how much space i have to the gearbox, i will route the coolant line with a 120° AN10 fitting under the big water outlet hose.....if possible
