Well what a weekend, it was my first completion doing hill climb, the Saturday started good did my first practise run up the hill seem to go well apart from a strange clunking from the rear of the car  had a quick look and could not see anything wrong, so proceed to go for me second practise run, I launch the car off the ling and bang when the read diff  not what I wanted to happen on my first competition, I thought at this point it was game over for the weekend racing, but after a very good mate of mine James said don’t give up if we can get a diff we can get you running for tomorrows competition, so after a few phone calls I found a diff to borrow big thanks to Warner for the lone of the diff, so 1 hour late me and James swapped the diff and was back up and running for Sunday race , the day stared nice and dry and got a pretty good first practise in and did a 34.26sec so pretty happy with that for my first run of the day, the it came to do my second run and it had started to rain a lot by then  but still managed to do a 38.89sec so not bad for the wet, now it was time to compete and it was still raining an very wet but on my first competing run I managed to get a 37.22sec so getting better then did my second competing run and got a 36.41sec with was much better and got me a class win  so very happy with the result for my first competition  rely looking forward to next year 

Congratulations on the class win! :)

That broken diff sounded horrible. If you get the chance to pull the back plate off I would be interested to know what broke.

That looks like really good fun. How do you get into hill climbs, do you have be part of a racing club type thing?
