gave the new track wheels a good clean today and they have come up very nice :) not bad for £150 :)

ok I had a look at the baffled sump i got second hand, here you can see the how much of a gap there is with the baffled sump in the block

he had to bend the oil pick up pipe a lot to get it to fit

so will be remaking it properly so everything fits as it should be, and fit a few more barn doors in side

done a bit on the car tonight got my new exhaust silencer

after a bit of cutting it now has the new box fitted so should make it quieter so it will pass the sound test's

started the mods to the baffled sump I have
I started by cutting to bottom off it

you can see the barn door and now the sump sits on the block

here you can see the 3-5mm gap I will be levering for the oil pick up pipe to pick up the oil

I’m going to have to extend the barn door a little and I’m going to move the drain plug so that it sits as the bottom of the some so it will drain all the oil out, then extend the side and weld it all back together
