I have a Justy right now (you can laugh but it was free ;) ) I am sure it's fuel pump is on the way out, it sounds like its whining? Also under acceleration it judders like its half choking itself to death...
So is it the fuel pump? Or anyone have any other ideas?

I think the justy is an excellent little car having seen one in action on a grass autotest.

Judder on hard accelleration could be fuel / fuel pump problems or could be ignition related - higher pressure gas needs a higher voltage to ionise & create a spark.

Yea they're pretty awesome of road for what they are! Cool, thanks for the info Nibbles. Think I'll bite the bullet and put a new fuel pump in next weekend! If that doesn't fix it I'll change the dizzy cap, leads and plugs also. Probably do the whole lot at once before the MOT
