Yes I’ve heard the standard manifolds are good for a good 400hp hence why I’m leaving mine in. Are using a 7 or 9 stud manifold? Dorris

Looks like there is a bit more to the toyota sound system than I expected. No wonder its one of the better sounding stock audios I ever heard.

Good series of pics showing the Cusco cage. Looks like its reasonably easy to install with the bolt in components. You mention welding, is that for the floor mount pick up points?

ok so did a bit more to the roll cage over the weekend

fitted new rear strut brace
Image
Image
Image

I have now bolted it all in and then started to add some more roll bars to it
first get some roll cage tube
Image
then weld the bolt in eyes
Image
Image

then weld the eye hook to the cage
Image
Image

I all so fitted a cross brace to the roll bar

Image
need to make shore everything lines up
Image
Image

did the same to the rear
Image
Image
and you end up with this
Image

I them painted it all up
Image

I then made some triangulated braces to brace the roll over bar to the body of the car and fitted it to the old seat belts mounting points

Image
Image
Image
Image
after making shore it all lines up ok I them welded it all in palace

Image
Image
Image
Image

Image
Image
adding these rely stiffened everything up

after all of this you end up with a nice strong roll cage
