Yes I am going to have to get some threaded ally rod welded to my rocker cover to fix my COP in place.

When you say gen5 - do you mean gen5 3sgte? I.e. Caldina St246 type?

I think the best option would be ST185 valve cover with boses welded in place for the COP units

That is a very good question.

I suspect the answer is who knows

However the same COP units are used in other Toyotas that don't have bonnet vents so I suspect they are used to reasonable heat.

All the same it miight be a good idea to utilize the cambelt snorkel duct to blow a little cool air about. Especially as the TTE cooler will close up the gap a bit

Hi,
the issue is that i can't can use the gen.4 cover in conjunction with the water to air intercooler core, and as toyota went back to a center feed manifold on the gen.5 i decided to try it

i also can't can use the gen.3 as there are no threads for the COP's, but if the gen.5 won't fit i'll try to make them

I'm asking because i try to find out rocker cover that fits best for individuail coils. But 3SG have not anough space above 1st cylinder....So i think there no another way, but cut&weld :-(

Cops of ST215 are also used in Beams red and grey top only (ST202, SW20 and SXA10)

That's true Beams have an over rocket cover that is not really vented, but does the 3SGE run as hot as our boiler. As your answer says " who knows".

Hi,

update

more parts arrived me

[img][/IMG]

- gen.4 oilpump
- crank position sensor
- tensioner and idlers
- water pump

the gen.3 part number delivers the plastic impeller pump with his way better design

[img][/IMG]

corolla wrc exhaust manifold, 207spec

[img][/IMG]

[img][/IMG]

possible we modify the design to fit a T4 twin entry or we machine a adapter, the one thing that makes a adapter attractive is that we can change the position of the turbo so that he fit the IC again, but with a adapter there is one more gasket in the system -> one more thing that can faile

and tomorrow some pics from the SARD/ Denso 275L/H fuel pump

Hi,

and here the SARD fuel pump, she is 99% plug&play you just have to use the delivered connector (same style like oem but with different pins), and she fit the rubber

theoretical she should be the strongest plug&play fuel pump on the marke

Who makes the SARD fuel pump? Are there any marking on the unit?

This doesn't look the biggest one SARD, the 280 lph, as it would be way larger, with 51mm diameter.

And it doesn't even seem to be the smaller one, the 265 lph, because it looks very different from the Sards.

The 280lph is the first from the left:

Kris, they should be rebadged Denso...
