I was just walking past the car with a spanner in my hand, caught my foot on something and slipped. This is the result :(

Good old fashioned Egyptian engine moving technology using an old kitchen worktop and an assortment of plumbing leftovers
Sadly all my slaves seem to have run away :(

I've seen all sorts of wedge the crankshaft, stick a spanner on it and turn over then engine post over the years when people talk about undoing the crank pulley nut. I chose to wedge the clutch basket up. Much easier when the engine is on the floor with no starter and it's sitting on it's sump

Mmm, how all all those memories keep flooding back. Someone help me find my pills

Seriously though good effort. If you need any small parts that you can post powder coating then send them to me. I have some new toys to play with.

No no, not that kind of toy, it's a blast cab and an electrostatic powder coating system of course

Chris mentioned it last week and I totally forgot. Have literally just dropped a load of bots at Powder Tech. Mind, the subframes are quite big

Yeah, not got an oven big enough for subframes. Yet that is!

I can do smaller parts and you can use a heat gun or infra red heaters too and still get a good finish just like the pro's do. It is exactly the same powders that they use so no real surprise there. I have done an SU carb and my Paj rear brake callipers so far and it amazes me how good the finish is. :D

Hi Si, what's the maximum dimension you can fit in your oven? Might be sending you some work if you're interested!

This is the result of the long struggle between the forces of evil (superstrut) and the forces of good (me  ) today. Good triumphed over evil but not without colatteral damage. This is my trusty light sabre (1/2" drive Britool knuckle bar) after the battle

I find my length of scaffold pipe a very handy aid to my socket set in 'persuading' stubborn bits of Four to co-operate

Well,

On top of the usual f.tight bolt issue I had another problem

I could not even get the split pins out of the hub plate arm balljoints. So I had to wind them out too. Took quite a bit of heading on the bar + my jack handle which makes a very useful extender

Think I strained my swearing muscle in the process though
