350-400 is a tricky area

You could run something like a 2871 which would give great spool but would need to be pushed hard (1.6+bar depending on the car) to get to 400

Or a 3071 which correctly set up and mapped should get you into that territory for much lower pressures - probably 1.3ish, again depending on the exact car, but you'll loose some low end spool capability

Or there's hybrids. My TT S148 made 321 hp at circa 0.9 bar with a spec similar to yours

It's always a trade off. The smaller the turbo you use the better the car will be as the spool and torque will be better. But you have to push a setup harder to get to the same end result. The ultimate decider may well be the use of the car.....

You have to remember that in the USA their wheel horsepower seems to correspond to our flywheel horsepower less 5-10%. close to anyway.

I have noticed the same thing. I asked a vendor about that and he responded that those are actual WHP. 285 WHP on an MR2 would make up to about 340 fly HP.

Oh well, as long as my car with GT3071 performs well(faster than the EVOIII turbo) I really don't matter what HP it runs.

I prefer lower boost (1,2 bar max) than faster spool and higher boost.

I want to keep the engine in order as long as I can. I have been working on the car for about 9 months and am truly fed up. :D
