ahhhh help trying to fit yhe knock sensor through the wheel arch but i cant even get my hand close to it do i need to remove somthing plz help

Before you go pulling everything apart reset the ECU by pulling the FI fuse or disconnecting the battery for a few seconds, this will wipe any stored codes that might arisen from the fuel cut problem then if it happens again then you know you have a fault. Dorris

hi thanks for the reply mate tried that 3 times before i baught the sensor it was just such a pig to get done. there aint nothing but problems with this car haha

Unfortunately some cars are like that, the knock sensor is not in the best place to get at.
I’ve just rebuilt my engine and wasn’t until I was reconnecting everything I realised I had the wrong knock sensor in place so had to swap it but I was lucky as I still have all my suspension stripped down.
As is cured it then? Dorris

well the knock problems are all sorted but it seems like there is a clicking when im on boost coming from the controller or the solenoid. also it is dropping boost in 5th other wise its fine
Im actually looking at a set of gen 7 leather seats for the car :-)
