Kris invested many hours in looking at oil fittings so he may have good ideas

I personally would use braided hoses direct to fittings on the turbo. I think you already have one there, possibly a dry break fitting
Then use Munsen rings to support the pipework - not sure what they would be called in your country but if you Google Munsen rings you can take a picture to your local house plumbing shop

Hi,

got you, i know what you mean 8)

my issue is that a friend of mine has damaged braided hoses in front of the high temperature of the glowing turbo, i'am pretty sure that i do not become that problem on the water lines but possible on the oil lines, i think i will go the TTE corolla way with spacers for the oil support and just normal aluminium hose ends on the water side

but for no my plan is to do a brain storming with a beer and a cigarett on a chair in front if the engine once the turbo is fitted by a adapter to the manifold, that way i get the best ideas

I would always consider using Aeroquip Fire Sleeve or similar over any fluid lines or cables running near the turbo, manifold and downpipe.

You can see from this view of the circa 1988 vintage Formula 1 Arrows -Megatron (nee-BMW Turbo) they use a combination of shielding, fire sleeve and heat sheath aluminium sleeving to protect the fluid lines etc. from both radiant heat up to 1000degC and heat soak up to 250degC

Hi,

another small step is done, we calculated the water amount to 350mL/min, but the oem nozzle is just able do deliver 150mL/min, the idea hit me a few weeks ago, simple make two out of one

[img][/IMG]

not a nie look but it works, i'am currently at 300ml/min and the package still stand simple

Hi,

if everything runs clear i will get the turbo adapter tomorrow, it will look like the one in the link but is out of 1.4541and custom made from my friend, i will weld it direct to the manifold

http://www.ebay.com/itm/140574748125?it ... dd&vxp=mtr

pls note that i would / you should never use the steel quality on that ebay offert, there isn't any strange left on high temps of above 600°C
