Do you know what boost the car was running?

How much petrol did you put in?

the first part will be fuel cut... i would imagine, that seems like a brick wall nearly, the fuel light... ignore it.

My fuel light came on permanently and i ignored it and the bulb died, i dont need a warning light to tell me when im low on fuel.

i think they are your problems

20 doesn't buy that much fuel nowadays I'd try filling the tank and seeing what happens otherwise the level sensor is broken.

1.15 bar is almost fuel cut territory. Try turning it down a little.

yeah ive turned it down seems to be alright.
saying that mind when i baught the car it was runnin 1.2 bar and it was alright turned it down as i thaught it was a little high . where is the fcd placed ill need to check.
the profec b im running is set to warn after 1.2bar so i wonder i i should knock it down a bit.
also where is the sensor is located a ill see if i need to replace it.
it was my last £20 i dont get paid till friday :-(

it wont just cut on 1.2bar, many factors seem to alter the boost cut, and ebc are not 100% accurate, mine sometimes used to cut at 1.1 and others it would allow an over boost to 1.25 according to the blitz ebc.

set the warn to 1.15, what cooling do you have? the charge cooler?

and it costs about £80+ to fill a tank so indeed 20 will only just get out the red zone but also if the sensor is bust i wouldnt bother fixing it, mines been bust for over a year.

dont touch a fcd, it WILL kill a 3s

will it be eaay to get hold of a new sensor?

3s is our engine code.

The fuel cut defender i thought you meant that you had a HKS fcd in which you can alter when the fuel cut will occur which will make the engine go bang.

The fuel cut for the car is programmed into the ecu, it just saves the engine from damage so is a good thing to make sure isnt messed with.

Pull out the pump with the sensors attached, im sure that the sensors wont be much, as i say i have never looked into the fuel level sensor as it never bothered me enough to fix it.

Deffo lower the boost warning to 1.15 or so on the charge cooler, not the best for sustained boost. :)

i have one on the back of my spare block if i can get to it, its buried deep at the back of my shed, where do you live?

You should in theory be ok to drive the car as long as you are not smashing it, as det and knock dont seem to happen under low load and no boost
