I do not have an over flow bottle any more as I have a header tank instead, witch I have a T into the bottom hose of the rad, the rad cap on the radiator doesn’t do anything now just a cap, the spout on the rad is for the air to get back to the header tank, the bottle top you can see in the slam panel is for my electric power steering pump reservoir

What are the main changes except for the inletmanifold?

Going for 1.6 bar again?

Good luck tomorrow.

shorter intercooler pipe work, fully portedand port matched head and manifolds, valves are now all sealing tigh,t turbo waste gate is now fully shut as it was lose be for and was losing spool up, yes if it will take 1.6 bar then that what it will be mapped at

Had a good day bad day lol the mapper said the engine sounded good so that ok, It’s still in 1 piece lol but the is a problem with power to the ecu? Its only showing 11v so all the mapping is out and won’t be able to map it till its sorted. So guess what I’m doing today

I know I may not fully understand the situation but is that indicating an unacceptable volt drop from the 12v source? Could it just be a breakdown in the conductor or faulty connection along the cable. Maybe just worth measuring resistance from +12 source to input of ecu.

:D

Nice 1, was it just some old dodgy wiring?

Whats the deal with it being sensitive electronics in the ecu? maybe its worth placing an inline fuse just incase.wouldn't want to write off the ecu if you were struck by lightening! :D
