Exactly Chris :)

Aren't you forgetting something Steve...
what happens when you find that the straps that hold the tank are rusted.

Hi,

job done, thanks for all advises 8)

i let the wire a little bit longer, you never know
cutting is possible everytime

Image

there is a M8 thread next the batterie (thanks toyota), i blanked it to get a good connection

Image

you can clearly see nothing even the wire is in a tube, i walked behind the relais box (relocated the box ~1cm to get enough space) through a unused rubber into the fender

Image

into the engine bay in direction old battery pole

Image

and pressed the connection, here i also deciced a longer wire as to much could change in the engine bay

Image

next week i should get the black diamond brakes, perfect as there is a bigger toyota event on weekend 8)
and i also pick up the repaired blitz hybrid turbo

Hi,

here we have the damapde radiator

overview

Image

here we see good clasps

Image

here one that leak soon

Image

and here one that is damaged

Image

i think the age is the reason

i now have a masterplan for the upgrade IC and a alu-welder so i just need a radiator core and we can start the job

Hi,

today i received the upgrade intercooler front radiator, now i just have to weld mountings on him and build a air channel, it is a 3row 2flow one with 50mm depth against, 38mm 2row 2flow of the OEM one

Image

Image

if everthing goes right i become my car ready next week 8)
here the company who build the radiator

Hi,

small subjective report, the performance is constant up to the may rpm. like a cool day in spring or fall

but nothing is for free, i have ~5°C higher oil temp. against the oem pre-rad, so the oil can raise up to ~100°C whe i drive hard

looks like the next mod will be a street under panel, to get more air out of the engine bay

I'm surprised that the temps are higher given that you've fitted a shroud to guide the air through the radiator matrix. I'm not sure how much benefit you will get from fitting a floor to the engine bay? You really want lower pressure behind the rad so that the hot air is encouraged to 'escape'. The floor might actually cause a pressure rise in the engine bay i.e. the opposite of what you intended! Experimentation of course should reveal the truth :)

Hi Don,

i'am now using a c-one underpanel, in front of many gravel drives and races in the past

Image

but now i drive just on street any more

you see it is not really open for air to escape, i possible can get here more out :)

Ah, so you already had the C-One undertray fitted? So it would worth removing it to see what difference it makes to your temperatures
