Don't go too much lower, you'll get into the cold start map on the stock ecu

I don't remember it off the top of my head, but I think it was quite obvious looking at the plate. You can see where the wax 'bulb' is and which port it must block off.

If I remember correctly you want to pump oil into the cooler, but then block the 'exit' to stop the chilled oil entering the engine until it's needed.

Hi Dan,

sorry, i didn't saw you post earlier :(

the first issue i have is that i thought to use a oil-filter relocation, but then i saw that the thermostat will by-pass the oil from the filter which means that i had to use it on the relocation and i have to buy another sandwitch (non thermostatic) to filter all the oil

now i bought a shorter filter and hope that i will become enough space to the undertray so that i can cancel the relocation
i want a simple system without to much gaskets that can possible leak

i also will give the water radiator a angle to become space for short oil hoses as i didn't wanna go a long route around the car

a lot of work is to do as i also wanna build a channel for the air and a bigger intercooler pre-radiator

i must finish the periphery this year

after some tests this weekend i saw that i can now achievement this low temp. also at speeds like 60-70km/H, and noticed gearbox temps around 70°C

and today i bought a TTE group A Spec intercooler, tasty
looks like the pre-radiator must wait until next year

Pics please? Where did you get hold of it and how much was it :D

Also, what are the differences compared to the stock intercooler?

I'll be interested to hear how it performs, e.g. lower charge temps etc.

Hi Don,

it comes from a friend in CH which sell his ST205, but can also ordered from Wevers sport

asop i get the intercooler i will post some pictures and compare them against the oem intercooler
but i have no datalog for the intake temp. :(
the only thing i know is from tommy in denmark who compare the intercooler against some HKS air/air units which have no chance against the TTE wta-system

Very interesting! I'll look forward to the pics and performance report once fitted :-D I have an HKS ATA intercooler for an ST205 but its full of oil and needs a good flush before it can be used. The design and end tanks look quite good.
