Silly newbie question. I've got a fuel pump resistor hanging on a wire round the battery area and I can't see / remember where it bolts to.

I didn't take any notes as I was planning the engine to go back in within a week - that was 3 months ago.

Other than that, it's running & ready to go back on the road. I would have taken it out tonight but it's too wet & windy to pull the other cars / trailers out which are between it & the door. Better weather is forecast for tomorrow & I'll have an apprentice to help push the trailer :)

Not yet split the old engine / box to see what the clutch problem was.

I believe it mounts to the top of the battery tray wity the resistor bit vertical next to the battery

As I don't have a battery tray mine just bolts to the top of the engine mount.

Is this the injector resistor pack or the fuel pump resistor?

IIRC on mr Rc the fuel pump resistor is around the passenger strut tower. It probably was originally somewhere else though!

I think that's the injector pack one JP but I may have the two of them confuddled

It would make sense (to me  ) that the injector resistors were near the injectors (strut) and the fuel pump one was near the fuel pump relay (little box bolted to radiator)

Definately the FP one. Currently lying wedged between battery & headlight until I find somewhere better

On a 185 bo6th packs are together & bolted to battery clamp along with main fuse box, sadly I know the 185 engine bay better & forgot I didn't know the 205.

Thanks for the answers. If it's not obvious I'll have a peek at someones car next tuesday - if anyones in a 205 that is.
