Just had to buy this, none runner as yet, and has been stood for a long while and does not start. Not got it home yet, so don't know to much about it, but has always been a car I have wanted, and so I am sorting out a trailer. First lookover seems OK, but will wait and see? I knew you liked rust Phil but didn't realise you were a martyr to it Are you restoring or rejuvenating? I fancy one with a k series and decent suspension. An mg lotus elan really I suppose |

Yep, we want pics Phil! MGB GT...is this an antidote to a GT-Four? Mine would be a Datsun 240Z. |

Nice but I couldn't resist doing this to it http://www.britishracecar.com/stormfield-mg-mgbgtv8.htm Sebring replica with modern brakes, coilovers and a nice v8 (I would want something like an e92 m3 v8 is light and has more poke than a rover v8 or a Lexus 1uzzzzzvgcv8yumie on throttle bodies - pretty much anything but a rover v8 tbh as long as it is light) More a baby cobra than a lotus élan. |

Fantastic, but I think keeping it standard might be a tad cheaper |

I'd like it if you stick a v8 in it |

So Tracey lost the argument about what to do with the space vacated by Dans car then Looks good from above, hopefully the underneath isn't rotten. One of my friends at uni had a 'B' he'd restored (his Dad ran a classic car garage.) Great car for character, but I seem to remember brakes were about as good as pushbike brakes in the wet. |

I had to fill the void with something Chris, Land Rover and Dan's Celica gone left to much space Just got the engine running after 11 years of being stood Fuel pump contacts were corroded along with the points, and a few wiring issues. Oil flushed and replaced and 11 year old fuel removed and replaced and carbs cleaned and it started OK, very happy Lots more to do on it though. |
