Nigel - as you know this is my (realistic) dream car.

I am dreadfully jealous. I must work harder! :)

Congratulations! :D

Thanks guys :D

I got a very good deal price wise (Aston Martin approved pre-owned) because of the colour (rather marmite).
I wasn't intending to get this colour but when I saw it I flashed at it (ooer missus   )
The colour is very unusual (special order) - Giallo Evros Lamborghini Yellow - to my knowledge it's the only one in the country in this colour. (Aston did do a Sunburst Yellow as an option colour).

I haven't worked out the audio yet...the exhaust soundtrack is awesome.
Well actually it's quite restrained on the noise level, that is, until you hit 4,000rpm when it roars into action.

Great drivers/driving car too

Apparently there is a fuse you can pull out which opens the valve that limits the exhaust sound at the lower revs that will give you the glorious noise at all RPM's.

Have a quick search around - it will be easy to find. Looking forward to seeing it in the metal. :D

I looked at this in the flesh a couple of weeks ago and it really is stunning. Despite the age the mileage is very low and it looks like new.

Whilst similar power to the RS5 is suspect this is a much more enjoyable drivers car. RWD may take some getting used to but is grin inducing.

Great looking car. Always fancied an Aston at some stage. The colour might be an issue if you use it as a daily driver. As the former owner of a yellow M3 I didn't appreciate the attention it got from the low-life and most insects seemed to think that my M3 was a giant lump of pollen!
