Lovely, so nearly bought one when 21 for £1200 (it needed work and a v5!!) luckily I hadn't taken the money with me so I escaped without buying the car, parting with money or being eaten by the Rottweiler. Sometimes things are too good to be true and the Vic check indicated it was in fact a blue 1983 2.0 coupe and not the pearl white 1985 2.2 Quattro I was looking at! Happy to say I was a geek even then so had identified the "facelift" version I was looking at was not right for the year of registration. Don't get me started on gene hunts v plated rhd late spec (but pre facelift) lash up. Still lovely but still wrong. |

4 years! For both  Headlight change was 1983 |
