There are two drains - one on the gearbox and one on the transfer case, make sure you drain from both.

You are correct regarding filling - there is one fill for both.

I thought as much but thought id check.

Did oil change on the 185 to have a gearbox fail on me 10 miles later! :shock:

certain I did it correctly but you start doubting yourself when stuff like that happens!lol

Helpful hint - make sure you undo the rear diff filler before the drain. Avoids the embarassment of a 'help, how do I get the oil back in' thread :lol: .

Yea, can remember doing the rear diff last time and having to get the larger socket on her because the smaller one had rounded off. As I said earlier, will try and get some pictures up of the car, the polish and wax have made a massive difference
