Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 Super Trofeo race supported the Blancpain Endurance race at Silverstone recently.

The Super Trofeo race car is based on the Gallardo LP 560-4 sports car, but with a reworked chassis and a direct injection V10 engine rated at 562 hp with higher compression ratio of 12.5:1, variable valve timing. The car has dry weight of 1,300 kg. Full time four wheel drive E-gear transmission.




Good to see someone has a sense of humour in the team!















Surprising to see that old-fashioned relays are used in what is purported to be a state of the art £200k supercar. Would have expected a full PDM CAN bus setup particularly in the race version.
