Here's the first of my incar videos. Race 1 on Saturday, probably the better of the two races with a lead pack of 5 and a chasing pack of 5, all swapping places pretty much every lap after the safety car. Unfortunately this one wasnt recorded for ITV4

Dismal qualifying, only 9th in the very wet and greasy conditions on Saturday morning, disappointing after running fastest in testing on Friday. Got up as high as 5th but just couldnt get a decent run, every pass I either ended up on the outside ready to be hung out to dry in the gravel or punted off, boxed in or letting someone else get a run through the next corner. Finished 10th and not entirely happy with myself as I just didnt have my game head on:

I only watched the first video, looks like great fun.

You seem to be braver than most on the brakes into the final corner!

One other thing I noticed is that you seem to have an odd line into turn 3 particually in the first 2-3 laps that seems to cost a lot of ground over the car in front.

Amazing the way the car jolts and bumps over the kerbs it looks like a blast.

Race 2 on Sunday, the one they did show on the TV. Started tenth, got as high as 5th but dropped back to 7th on the last lap. I believe the TV showed right up to the lunge at MacIntyres so I've included the external video from trackside to show what happened (ie the two wheels in to the side of me bit!)

Watching them I've noted I need to MTFU through the chicane as I'm losing time and unless its a very late lunge slowing everything down on the apex I shouldnt grab 2nd at the 3rd corner as thats whats losing me time even on the tighter defensive line 3rd is better (at this point Kenny was nipping at my heals hard hence having to cover)

Nice footage. What setup are you using to integrate cameras and speedo?

I hired the camera gear for the weekend from www.pandamoniumracing.com, its a vbox set up with high res camera out the front and low res for driver. Microphone poked through a gromet in the boot floor to be right next to the exhaust for sound effects.

They're definately not fast on the straights but in terms of cornering speed they're something else. At Oulton last year in testing I was having to lift through island bend to avoid running up the backside of some Caterham racers that were in the same session.
