Apparently mine is defective

It was unable to spot the elderly muppet turning right from the inside lane of a 3 lane roundabout :(

Net result, 1 bent NSF wing, 1 damaged mirror, 1 wrecked tyre, 1 dinged TTE alloy :( :( :(

Need to go give the whole side a good inspection now. That means washing the bloomin car too. Things go from bad to worse lol

Also discovered that rusty old Honda's are still stronger than the 205 :(

Nuts

Pics of the damage. Not too severe but I'm still narked about it
Worst part is the damage to the TTE wheel which is almost certainly irreplacable

Also p'd off that a rusty F plate Honda Civic Shuttle can inflict this and come out unscathed

Wing mirror might just polish off

Wheel is scuffed and slightly dented. Should be refurbable though. Tyre is completely fubar, cut right through the canvas and bulging.....

Lots of lovely scratches and a smallish dent

Plus I now have to try and dig out the bespoke wheel alignment data for when it goes for a gommetry check. Don't want them resetting it to stock :(

Gutted for you Steve  ....on a positive note you should still be able to get the TTE wheels if you need a replacement. The actual manufacturer name in Germany should be embossed on the inside IIRC. Fennies web site http://www.fensport.co.uk/parts.htm still show them under ST205 ->Accessories->Universal Parts.

Work should begin quite soon :D

Will be getting a new front wing, refurbed wheel, new tyre and a fresh coat on the mirror as well as a jometry test lol. Total cost likely to be 6-700 snots  Not bad for a <10mph nudge :!:

Since it's going to a very helpful local bodyshop, run by a friend of the old man, it might also get some additional paint work to tidy up some of the stonechips. It's got to go in the oven anyway so if I can add a few quid into the pot and get a more comprehensive job done then I'll be tempted :D

Clouds, silver linings and all that

Hope you're not having to pay for these repairs out of your own pocket Steve?
