Hi guys, I thought I would share this with you from over on the OC. Anyone is welcome and you don't have to be in a GT4 necessarily, so if you want to bring a different car or have friends with other cars that want to join please feel free.

For this to take place we need a minimum of 15 cars, we will then have the place exclusively to ourselves and they will put tea/coffee on for us. Cost is £35. We are also planning to go for some food at a local pub to warm up after for anyone who fancies it.

We need to try and get to 15 ASAP to secure the date - so if you fancy it get your name down!

Do you know what dyno setup they have down at Interpro?

Last time I was there (a good few years ago) it was very old and put out some insane readings. Like standard ST185's making 250-260 hp with no modifications.

I think I probably attended the same event, but it would have been way back in like 2003/4? I'm not sure what model of rollers they use but I can find out.

I am pretty sure they are fairly accurate though - my engine, ecu, fuel system etc were all rollered somewhere up north (sorry can't remember the venue) in a different ST205 at 382bhp, the full running gear was then transplanted in to my car, the only change being from a 2.5" to a 3" exhaust system. I had it tested at Interpro a couple of months ago and it made 392bhp so I would say this is pretty consistent, with the slight increase accounted for by the larger exhaust system.

Also doing a quick google search here is another direct comparisson with the rollers at Marlin which suggests its pretty consistent with other rollers:

Looking around the net most people seem to suggest they provide pretty reliable results, although obviously no dyno is 100% accurate.

Yes may well have been the same event.

Good news if they are now much more consistent. My car made about 30hp more than it should have done at the time.

My car wont be ready unfortunately - shame about 2 weeks later and it likely would have been fine :)

I think I'd quite like to attend with a mate in his scooby estate if he free. So potentially 2 cars extra :-P

Ok so I'm coming to this still by not rolling due to not putting new engine in over weekend, so no point doin dyno as know figures of this motor already, and wouldn't want to tear dyno apart and ruin it for the rest of you

Managed to put gearbox in though so will definatly be coming up in the four.

As for my mate mat, we are still waiting for weather to clear so he can take rx7 to oxford to get a non seq setup and road mapped on apexi. So if he manages to get that done, (possibly friday its pencilled in) he will be coming, but if weather bad again, unfortunatly he will have to pass, but I will try push him to do it anyway as a before mapping power run, then he can get it dynoed again after to see differences.
