The usual zaffron curry meet at 8.15Pm

Ideal date for anyone trying to avoid a marriage proposal. Tradition says that if you decline an offer of marriage you have to buy the lady 12 pairs of gloves !! As such it has been named "Bachelors day"

Actually, I'm thinking 12 pairs of gloves is a bargain compared to the cost of leaving it a few years.

No but I have to get up at 5:45 in the morning to get ready for, and set off to, work.
