Not sure if this appeals to anyone here, but it's one of my favorite events - perfect for a 4, although a bit bumpy for the fragile 205 SS.

A variant on an autotest which requires a navigator as the area we have available is narrow and long. Speeds are higher than a conventional autotest, forwards only, part gravel and part muddy tarmac.

Entry fee £25 plus club membership (about £15 from memory). No car mods needed. No helmets needed. No comp. licence needed.

I'm also looking for a navigator (passenger) for this.

Anyone interested in competing or passengering give me a shout.

I've meant to come and spectate sooo many times but it either clashes with something or I've got a stinking hangover

I'd like to say I'll be there but given previous form "I'll try to be there as a spectator"

What an event !!! Nobody stopped smiling all day.

Managed to blag a navigator on the day - 11 year old son of one of the other drivers. He was chuffed we beat his dad by 1 place

Overall winner was a Mk1 escort RS2000, We came 8th out of 25. The GPS recorded a peak speed of 63MPH which is pretty quick for an autotest

No action shots of me sadly but I took a few pics during the day.
