Fensport Celica survives Knockhill Time Attack !!

Image
Report from the Time Attack web site below:
Adrian Smith returned to action in the Fensport Celica, having played team manager at Oulton Park, and managed a fifth place in the Pro class. Considering the power difference between the Celica and some of the Mitsubishis and Subarus, along with the fact Knockhill has traditionally conspired to break some part of the car, he will be extremely happy with that result.

Next round is at Silverstone on Sunday 31 May. The same day as the Japanese Tuning Show http://www.japanesetuningshow.co.uk/

Autotuner at Brands was great last year i went with Toyota Sprint Series, (there was also a GT4 club there, but not this one).
The show was quite good, Time Attack was awesome & we also block booked a 20 minute session of track time, which was super fun! Only thing that caught me was the Fensport Corolla & started with an MR2 behind me. I lifted to let the MR2 past along start finish & then watched him stick in in the gravel at Paddock hill bend :)

I was really looking forward to it this year, however the Toyota Sprint Series have recently juggled their dates about & moved an event to the same day  i've paid a deposit on each round of TSS, so i've got to do that round.

Sh*t happens i suppose, but frustrating that i live less than 10 mins from Brands & i'm not going to go to Autotuner, instead i've got a 5am start to go over to Ipswich!

www.autotuner.co.uk has pictures of 4's on it's frontpage :D

I'd reccomend going, somehow it manages to be 3 things in one day: A Static Show, A Trackday & Spectator Motorsport. Bargain!

*******Just clicked on the link i've put up & it looks like there's not going to be Autotuner show in 2009. It could be just Time Attack on the day? Or could even get cancelled as a round of Time Attack?????*******
