As far as I'm aware the ST205 was introduced as a road car in January 1994.

I'm hoping that there will be a big turn out of cars at numerous events to celebrate our beloved "Faffs" (an old GT4OC term)

My own JDM version has
a V5 registration date of January 1994.

I emailed Toyota UK in July to ask if they had any plans to celebrate this event. I was surprised when they answered that there was nothing planned, but suggested I keep an eye on their magazine website for any announcements.

I'm toying with the idea of contacting the manufacturing plant in Burnaston, Derbyshire to see if they'd be interested in some sort of club meeting / visit.

I live locally and I'm aware they like to support local initiatives. I'm hopeful that we can initiate something that might benefit Toyota and club members.

Of course these events would be open to the other GT4 models also. Without the ST165 & ST185 the ST205 wouldn't exist.

Does the club have any plans for this anniversary year?
