Why is there only one vibration damper on the drivers side front driveshaft? Is there not one on the other side....or has it fallen off? |

Mine only has one also. The only reason I can think of is that only one was needed? |

Just happens to be on the same side as the crank shaft damper pulley (harmonic balancer)?? |

I'm guessing the passenger side one doesn't have a resonance within the expected speed range for the car. |

Do any other vehicles have these sort of dampers on the driveshafts. e.g. Evo, Impreza? |

Not sure about Evos or imprezas, but some Peugeots do, Civics do. Etc It looks like Evos or Imprezas do not have them! |

doesnt looks like it is fitted on passenger side... |
