Post subject:	Engine revs up 1500 rpm when cold
Can anyone tell me where the ground wire goes to from the sensor on top of the coolant pipe which houses the temp sensor a nd cold start inj sensor. The wire has broken off and I can't see where it came from poss loom." didn't now this was causing my engine revs to play up. Thanks

can you put a pic up as had a problem likethat meself then sorted it there is 3 wires in total in that area

What do you mean by pic up. It has two wires coming out it.gt4185. 1992.

picture of the wire and area its in got the same car and in the area you mention there is 3 wires 1 goes to the water temp sensor 2 goes to a sensor just under you intercooler and another wire that comes off the elbow by the water temp sensor

Ok poss the wire should route to the inter cooler then.i know one is cold start sensor for injector and the other for temp sensor in car but the third one was a mystery.
