Bad borewashing is the only way and is consistent with all the other woes.

If it is bore wash then really only a fault with the pistons can be the case. New rings and then possibly pistons and a rebore.

You'll also need to find the cause of the bore wash in the first place.

Buy a cheap 2nd hand engine and fit it yourself. I guess you could probably do this for £500 ish.

I agree, it only takes a matter of hours/days depending on competency and isnt as bad as you may 1st think.i find people that find them a nightmare tend to be suprised when they actually do it.most complicated part for myself was working out how to get the engine out from under the car!you seem to be having all kind of problems so just start afresh.lol. :D

Hopefully it wont require anything more than fixing your chronic overfuel problem. As you haven't exactly been driving the car I imagine theres little to no lasting damage

I don't think I'd be too concerned about fitting a new donk just yet, especially if you haven't actually fixed the initial problem that got you into this state

Fix that first then put a few miles on the var and see how it goes

Agree 99% + an oil change.

Get the fueling problem sorted then change the oil before giving it too much welly.
