hi guys
just got my car back from a mechanic (friend of a friend) who was doing a pre nct service for me. on opening the bonnet inoticed some damage on the hitch a bad repair job.
then went onto to find two other dents and the bonnet not sitting properly on car.
turns out the bonnet flew up and smashed the windscreen and severely damaged my bonnet which was then replaced by this rough bonnet now on the car.
any advice as what i should do. dents are probably fixable but hitch part isnt and looks very rough. the bonnet also has a lip up near the windscreen which was not on my origional bonnet. my car is a 1996 jdm st205.
any advice would be great guys thanks

He should return the car to you in the same condition you left it in. Any self-respecting mechanic should follow that principle even if he is a friend of a friend. The going rice her in the UK for a secondhand bonnet in good condition is £100 but if its not the same colour as your car then you'd obviously have to budget for a respray on top of that

Definitely go for a replacement.
There must be people breaking GT4's over your neck of the woods.
Perhaps PM speedophileGT4 he may be able to help or try on celicaireland.com

I would agree with the replacement advice. Unless you know a good alloy fabricator repair of the bonnet will be tricky. There are Fours being broken for spares over here so I'm sure you'll be able to get hold of a good secondhand bonnet. I guess the awkward part is collection :?
