Hey chaps, been awhile. Hope all is well.

Not sure if word got around, but thought I'd say, my old man, Phil Smith, died Tuesday May 23rd. Funeral, final bash, as it were, will be held at my mums house. Plans for bbq, raffle, also planning on having him suspended from his engine hoist. Should give you an idea of the events theme :).

If anyone is interested in coming give me a shout and I'll pass on details when possible. Waiting on delivery of 2nd child (7days overdue now) so it won't be in the immediate future.

Take care

Dan

Dan,

I am so very sorry to hear that, Phil was part of the club for such a long time. Our trips to Castle Combe just won't be the same without him.

My and the rest of the GT4 Drivers Club's condolences. I hope that with the impending arrival of your next little one that your family has lots of good times on the horizon.

All the best,

Mike

Really sorry to hear that Dan. Phil was quite a regular visitor to some of the trackday venues in the South West and I'd met up with him at Hulavington, Keevil and Combe over the years - it was always good to catch up for a chat.

Please accept my condolences.

Dave

Thanks guys.

Funeral, if one can call it that lol, will be held on fathers day, day after his birthday. All more than welcome. Will update with further details soon.

Date of Phil's Garage Finale is confirmed for Sunday 18th June (yes that's Fathers Day!).
Would love to see you all if you can make it.
Scruffy garage clothes are more than welcome.
Come hungry as there's a BBQ!
Raffle (88 lots!) of Phil's surplus stuff in aid of Dorothy House Hospice.
2pm onwards but more or less an open house all day so whatever works for people.
Drop me a message if you need the address of my mums place in Chippenham.
Cheers

I'm aiming to get to the 'do', probably mid afternoon-ish.
