Hi all,
Just wanted to share with you all what looks like a god piece of news for me at long last.

It looks like that after contacting my local MP and his offices involvement I have at long last been offered new accomodation that is better suited for me in many ways......YEY!!!

Its not that far from where i am (closer to the young lady that used to help me, but had to stop due to her kids starting different schools at he two opposite ends of the village meaning there was no longer any time to get to mine) so i get some of my help back ad a little bit more social interactivity back, It has a ramp up to the front door, the doorways are apparently widened to ease access for my wheelchair, flat access shower (no bath which is a shame as i use bath for pain relief but have to comprimis somewhere), front and rear gardens but main things being location and no stairs...i know it also means i lose Milli's bedroom but i am ok with that and hopefully...HOPEFULLY... will no longer have night storage heating as it primary heating system!!

Anyway, i just wanted to share my apparent good news with you all after all your help and support you have given me this past couple of years

Now to find a van for the big stuff, make lots of lists of things i need to do and hopefully get the keys next Friday all being well.....i cant beleive the amount there is to be done in a relatively short amount of time....shall we takes odds on the amount of things i will forget lol....minor detals

hope you are are all as pleased as i am....though i am getting worried now...2 pieces (clutch and bungalow) of good news in as many weeks!!! very strange and scarey

Cheers All
Chris

Same for me, so long as my back's recovered from the last 3 days hard labour.

Hi all,
Just confirmation that i seem to of secured a bungalow, near my friend that helps me from time to time, with NO stairs, large garden with 2...yes 2 sheds, which is a bonus as i have somewhere for all my spares that are NOT inside my house and central heating NO MORE USELESS NIGHT STORAGE HEATING!!
Not many downsides, no bath just a shower {used to use hot bath to warm up and numb pain when high}
Lost Millie's bedroom and obviously a lot of space as its smaller
But all in all a small price to pay for some potential freedom and a lil help
So....I get and sign for the keys on Friday :)...no heating for the first couple of days as gas needs to be turned on but i have some electric heaters
Well thats about it really
Cheers all
Chris
