So we all know how it goes with a car in bits on the drive....
There's a big list of things to do and if it's not raining you get on with something at every opportunity.

Such were the conditions earlier when I took a smoko....next job on list.......change fuel filter

It was as I cracked the lower union amid a cascade of fuel, said smoke clamped firmly in mouth I realised what a complete tool I am.

Clearly Darwin has a day off today so I urge everyone to get those slightly risky jobs finished today in his abscense!

Have I ever told you when, refueling the GT-four in my garage, fuel's vapour reached the geyser's flame, catched fire, and so my car's tank ?

Fortunately after some TERRIBLE seconds, the flame disappeared by itself from the tank cap... so my house was safe!

I think I was lucky... even if I had to change rim, rear bumper, rear trunk plastic covers, repaint etc etc...
