Hi,

there are two types of corolla intake manifolds

- single throttle body

- ITB

Have you checked gasket part numbers to see if it will actually bolt up to a ST205 (or even ST185 head) ??

That TTE drawing looks like it is showing a very early ST215 head with the exhaust studs?

Here you go guys, courtesy of Hob on the OC. What I believe is a TTE single throttle body, dual-plenum Corolla manifold.

The studs in that drawing don't match anything I've seen

It's not 205/215 for sure as both exhaust and inlet stud pattern is wrong. Perhaps it's for the beams engine they used?
But then why the dizzy cap?
Maybe it's just a reference where the parts don't necessarily look like the pictures

Whereas the manifold in the pictures would be a direct bolt on to a 205

Hi,

no i haven't checked the gaskets as they use o-rings from the ITB's to the head
TTE AM-Numbers are totally different to toyota part numbers so there is no chance to compare them except you buy them

the intake & exhaust ports should have the same design as the gen.3 and gen.4 have, gen.2 is totally different

205, have a look on chris homepage, there you can see pictures from the TTE ST185, one picture shows you a silver (alu) part where normally the dizzy is -> this is the crank & cam angle sensor & this is why the corolla head also have the hole

Here are two examples of the Corolla WRC side feed plenum. The main plenum looks pretty much the same as Hob's photos although its not possible to see if there is a secondary plenum in these photos.

Wow,

There's a chance I was right

Looks like the ITB setup was for the i260/beams block setup

Still suprised that the early Corolla WRC used a dummy dizzy cap though but that certainly looks like the manifold Hob has

What is an i260?

it's the last of the Corrolla wrc designations. Same engine as Johnny has in his current tss car. You can spot it by the ertial lines cast into the cylinder head. Based on the beams engine which might be why the stud patterns look more NA with two studs per branch if you see what I mean

Hi,

205, do you meand the surge tank on the picture i posted?

head to ITB's looks like very 205 & 215 style, the ITB's to the surge tank has 2 studs per branch, but is TTE custom

Head to ITB stud pattern looks nothing like a 2*5 version

However,
I'll admit after a bit of staring through these rheumy old eyes....The exhaust manifold would possibly fit if you removed a stud

The i260 engine in the later Corolla WRC is based on a Lexus engine. Official stats are: 1972.3 cm3, water cooled in-line 4 cil. Bore: 85.4mm, stroke: 86mm. Compression ratio 8.5:1 318 HP at 5500 rpm and 515 Nm at 4000 rpm. This is the engine in Jonny Milners Corolla WRC. Please note his Toyota Sprint Series uses a 3S-GTE based engine not a Lexus or BEAMS engine.
