Hi guys, posting here as i dont have access to post in tech :S

Getting a clonk when changing from 1-2-3rd, would suggest its the rear diff mount but i have had a look at it and its not too bad, hasnt collapsed or anything

Is the anything else it could be?

Cheers

A torn diff mount and sometimes the driveshaft bearings can be an issue.

does sound like classic diff mount but it could also be the exhaust rattling about

Cheers guys

think its most likely the diff mount bush, whats the best thing to do? pay the £100 for a new bush

Or the £20 to cast a urethane one?

If it's not the rear diff mount, check your sway bar mounts. I had clunking from worn sway bar bushings.
