Never really been a batman fan but so many people are saying it's great that I'll get myself along to see it. :)

Went to see this on Sunday.
It was good, very good, but not better than Batman Begins IMO.
Just my 2p for what it is worth. . . . don't be put off by my comments, still go see it, you will not be dissapointed :D

If you plan to see it make sure you've seen Batman Begins first.

Not better than Begins imo (but that is one of my favourite films of the last 10 years)

The biggest achievement imo is having such an awesome Joker but not having Batman sidelined (like Michael Keaton was when Jack Nicholson ran off down the road with his film)

I agree with all you guys but

why does batman have to be so gruff when he talks ffs :!: There were a few times when I could hardly understand what he was saying. I know he can't squeak like his plums haven't dropped, but even the hulk can be understood when he says hulk smash etc. Superman sounds hard enough without growling. Apart from that I agree that it was excellent.

I did find it annoying when Bruce was trying to disguise his voice as batman.

The movie was good, but I felt like it was over hyped.

I look forward to the Watchman movie coming out next year. They showed the trailer before batman here in the states.

I'm not too sure about The watchmen think it is one that wil be either good or rubbish, think i'll let someone else go to find out and let me know!!

I went to see Dark Knight again last night and have to say it improves with watching it a 2nd time.
I suppose it was because i already knew the plot i could watch the film and enjoy the subtlties i missed first time round. . .

I still don't think it is better than the original, but would now rate possibly on par with it . . .

I also think batman begins was better.

As for watchmen. Its scary that they are taking this on. If they ruin this movie, the fans will lynch everyone involved in making it.

I will most likely see it myself, regardless of what people sy about it. Some of the reviews may be over critical since it will not be exactly like the book.

Isn't the song they used (by the smashing pumkins) in that trailer a slower version of a song that they performed for a batman movie. "The end of the beginning of the end" or something like that.

I have been wanting to read the book again, but I sort of want to go into the movie w/o having an analytical comparison in my mind.

One of the first fictions I was not able to put down. I stayed up non-stop reading it till tru. It was a gripping book.

Especially when I would read it, then refer to this guide.

Well I saw this last night and have to say that I really enjoyed it - great movie! 8) And as for Heath's Joker, well what can I say - simply brilliant. Such a huge shame he's no longer with us as I got the feeling that he was just hitting a sweet spot of acting ability here that could have resulted in some amazing performances in future films :( This was one dark film and like Batman Begins, totally in keeping with how Batman really SHOULD be - 10 out 10 from me, will be on my DVD purchase list for sure 8) Cracking stuff :)

Cheers,
Mark
