Try bridging fp and b+ in the diagnostic connector and see if that makes any difference

Also wip the cover off and poke your schnozz in there. If you smell a fish smell, a cap has leaked... They normally weep from the bottom so a bit harder to spot. Electrolite (can't spell) can also eat away at the pcb so may need little more repair work. Sounds like it is the ecu is at fault as you tried a standard ecu and that works... Also, maybe look to see if it drives the charge cooler pump although I wouldn't expect it to run as rough as you are experiencing.

hmmm 185's are getting rare to find now so i cant find another 185 anywher to try it out, as for FP and B+ ive even fitted a walbro fuel pump to stop it from running lean but no good :/

Or you could post it to someone to look / try.

I've got a CS so its not likely to work on my car. But Phil ( NoGT4 ) or similar had a 185 ....

Also, has this blitz ecu worked fine before ? Its not a new ecu you have just tried to use ? Ad early to late 185s have a few pin differnces....

my car is a late JDM st185 and the ecu is from a rev2 mr2 turbo, worked perfectly for a month until i decided to give it the beans (floor it) after that its been running BAD.
now im using the stock ecu and the car drives perfectly.
took my blitz apart and found this

I can't really see the focus is so poor, but if you've seen the result then I would guess that's the problem.

You're welcome to post off to me to change & repair tracks if you wish, or get someone local who deals with electronics.
