hi guys,i have a hks silent hi power ,just had a mate at quickfit put it on,had to remove the corner of the rear subframe to get it not to hit  ,also even with all that done it still hits the bolt where it comes out from it too ,rubbers all seem good condition,what rights do i have refund swap ect?.
was brougt from sumo power. wish i had chose the blitz now

I've never seen a 3inch fit well lol there just ain't enough room for them. |

agreed, its going to knock somewhere if its 3" (mine does) mind you, some suppliers sell it as a 2.75" exhaust. Sure its 3" though |

hks site and sumo power all say 75mm,just sent them an email about the problem as its not fit for purpose ect. |

They all have a tendency to rattle unless fettled I find that I have to spend quite some time to get it right. Undo all the bolts everywhere and twist the rear section until you have clearance everywhere. Bending of brackets is sometimes required Does it rattle in any specific situation? |

My 75mm Blitz Nur SpecR system fitted really well, no rattles at all  Would recommend it.

My blitz nur rattled. Possibly it depends what hodge podge of components live upstream. In my case much Aussie equipment with non OEM turbo Even the bespoke H&S rattles if I don't line it up right when swapping downpipes |

My Blitz was fitted to an OEM front pipe and cat/downpipe originally then a 3" Hayward & Scott downpipe and front pipe. I outsourced the fitment in each case so maybe that made the difference

its hitting the rear diff crossmember, aswell as part of the subframe itsself,on the bend before the flange. |

i have some photos of what is going on,the guy also had to mount the lower rear diff crossmember on washers to try and gain clearence or the exhaust would not have fitted at all :/

What do you have as a the front section of the exhaust, it doesn't look OEM. |

the whole system started off completely standard,even had toyota stamped on the rear tailpipe when they took it off to fit the hks,only mod thats been done was a Hayward and Scott 100 cell race cat that basically is a ss copy of the bottom section of the cat housing,it mated up to the front pipe spot on when i fitted it.The front pipe has all the original heat shielding around it ect so in my opinion i think its as standard as the rest of the system,cars only done 52k so to me it seems about right. |
