Anyone used or have aem tru boost controller?

I'm dithering whether to get tru boost, or gizmo boost controller?

I like the aem one but its just quite pricey.

I haven't used either and things may have moved on from when I last bought a boost controller but in my opinion you can't go wrong really with either an Apexi AVC-r or a Greddy Profec B.

Agreed on the Greedy profec spec b, easy to use, does what it says on the tin.

I think its worth staying away from the power fc boost controller, I've heard a few times that the solenoid is ... not very good at controlling boost
Any form of standalone controller is preferred.

I don't know much about the AEM boost controller...their ECUs are very good though (ask James at JDModified).
The Greddy Profec B Spec II is a great bit of kit (had one on my ST205).
However, if I was buying another boost controller I would be going for an HKS EVC VI->

Thats interesting Nigel - is there any reviews of the HKS EVC VI?

I had an EVC V in my ST205 for a while (it came with the car when I bought it) it looked great and was a really smart install however it was hopeless at controlling the boost, I couldn't recommend it.

I'm thinking I'm going for aem, as its a very simple controller, and also acts as a boost gauge, which is handy as when I took car to veysport, he said my gauge is extremly inaccurate and my so called 1 bar was only 0.7!
Just got to save some pennies as need controller, remap, and better fuel pump all in one go!
