Attended a little gathering today at surrey rr :), would welcome comments observations and possible solutions to any points raised. Charlie did say he thought the actuator had seen better days, and to sort out the fuelling, and better figures were obtainable..

Is that a stock engine or has any mods been done. Dorris

Rev 2 block/head running rev 3 ecu inj etc, straight intake and a front mount with a clocked stage 1 tubby. I thought 250 was a reasonable expectation, but as you can see afr's past 3800 rpm dive :( .

You still running the TVIS? Just wondering if this is up setting the ST205 ECU and have you got that straight intake going in to a large cold air box? Dorris

I'd guess it's on 185 cans giving reduced ve at higher rpm relative to 205.

Solutions would include can change or ecu change (piggyback or mappable Standalone )

The rich fuelling will cost you a lot... think the only way to cure that is more money - an aftermarket ECU

Hmm :?, and cans would be what chris ? I'm not that au fait with tech slang terms...

Funny you should mention ecu's chris, the previous owner did tell me the loom had connectons added for an e-manage when it was converted, which if true and i have no reason yet to disbelieve him , would point me in that direction.
Next question being just how reliable and how good will this be for my purpose ? Are mappers still easy to find for these (well ok three questions then) ?

that doesn't seem too bad to me, looks like your boost is at actuator pressure, how are you controlling boost?

cans = cams typed on a phone with auto correct. D'oh

The rev3 ECU won't have any drive for TVIS, and TVIS is somewhat incompatible with MAP sensor based fueling. I very much doubt it's active.
