Well it seems as though i am getting somewhere ( sort of ) and thought i would inform you of how i am getting on as you seem to be as much in the dark as me

The early JDM 165’s had a diff lock light where the voltmeter is on the later ones (just for reference, so mine is a later than the earliest with a voltmeter but not late enough to have a boost gauge or a turbo pressure sensor !! )

JDM 165’s of the age i have come WITHOUT yup WITHOUT a Turbo Pressure Sensor, and no EGR system so that means that the fuel cut must come from the AFM itself ie voltage wise

So i just got to sort out which that is and then if theory is correvt theni may have the fuel cut sorted

Interesting......I wonder how the diff lock light is activated? I have an electronic manual operated diff lock on the rear axle of my Nissan Patrol but I wouldn't have thought that would be a terribly good idea on something like a GT-Four?
Sounds like you are on a 'voyage of discovery' Chris so keep us posted on your findings.
