 driving home tonight, and a small minded corsa lad with huge plastic body kid did the unthinkable and tried to overtake me

I couldn't have this so i dropped to 3rd and floored the old girl bless her

When i looked at the old commander box of doom I had some very strange readings...

INJ DUTY 100%
KNOCK 39 (phew)
Boost 1.2bar  :?
Air temp 32 (good)

on Standard turbo,
i guess the air pressure was good tonight

I turned it down anotch or two and everything went back to normal...

INJ DUTY 84%
KNOCK 35 (ussually less but i went to the red line 7000rpm which it picks up a little)
BOOST 1.14BAR max
AIR temp 32

and it remained here for the rest of the journey.

I really must figure out how to set up my Greddy profec spec2's warning and % bleed thingamejig!

If i put up some pics can someone help me??

Should i set it to 0% for max bleed off or 20% ????
i've tried both and it worked once but failed once and worke the other way once and failed once???

Warning limit is set to 1.15 BAR on both high and low settings but it never bleeps??? even if it does go way over?

anyhelp would be great cheers

20% is max bleed off. You are setting the amount of the duty cycle to reduce by (so 20% will take it to 4/5 of whatever the original setup was)

You have to set the warning level to where you want and also set the warning status to ON. This is in the next screen of the menu.

Did your EBC not come with a manual? I've got mine here somewhere so if you want i can copy in the exact procedure.

datajon...

no it doesn't hold to 7k it holds to 6k but i was watching everything else so wasn't looking at rpm :-) i can feel you frowning at me :-?

candyman...

mine did come with a manual but i'll be fudged if i could understand the bit about the percentage thing (on the second red screen)? i have both warnings set to 1.15 bar but it just seems to do what it likes? i'll take a few pics of display and find the book perhaps i'll read it right this time ?

if not i dunno really, i just wanna how the warning system and bleed off works in real time?
