So I now have a proper 2 gauge A pilar pod replacement thingy (thanks Don ) I started looking for something to fill it with!

After much looking, I thought I had found the gauges I want however, said gauges are 52mm :? whilst pod holes are 60mm. (serves me right for not checking diameter before)

Anyway, I know I could buy a converter such as the ATI adapter ring but I'm not sure it will look like a proper job. So I'm looking for 60mm gauge suggestions.

Being a girlie, I (obviously!) have pretty specific requirements. I want the gauges to have a black face, green backlighting (to keep in line with the 'stock' feel) and I want them to match. Added bonus would be auto dimmer for night driving and auto off with ignition but these two are not essential!

Not too much to ask perhaps? Until I admit that I want one to be a boost gauge and the other an analogue style/display clock

So I need some suggestions of manufacturers that I might not have considered/found on Google that may be able to fulfil my requirements.... Any suggestions appreciated if I can't find what I'm looking for I will have to go down the spacer route but that is not my preference.

After reading your post Loosey you got me wondering so I've just measured my other Hypersport two gauge pillar pod. The holes are 53mm on that one. I've also measured my '52mm' Greddy gauges (black face with green backlighting just like you are after  ) They measure 52mm on the main body and the bezel is 59mm. If your holes are indeed 60mm then you should be able to adapt the 52mm gauges to fit by fabricating a small flange from a sheet of ABS, GRP, carbon or similar.

Q: how are the gauges suppose to be mounted? Screw on ring or bracket?

My solution would be to *scribbles something on a piece of paper cos it's faster than typing..
Here:

Use a ~2mm thick piece of ABS plastic, some epoxy glue, a couple of holesaws or a jigsaw, some sandpaper, a file, measuring tape/stick, pen/pencil, compass, drill + bits etc etc..

I thought the pods would be identical? I'd like to test yours with my Greddy gauges to see if the DeeCee sketch will look OK in practice.

I've prodded our events coordinator for a date for the next curry meet but he's maintaining radio silence!

If you bring the gauge pod I'll include a Blue Peter origami lesson free of charge
