Springs not the size they should be, slight oversight now the bleeping gaiters will not work on the coilovers..


any ideas..

need gaiters to cover over a 53.50mm , to suite 40mm ram, but need to stay under 59mm od, otherwise they catch the springs..

just to make things worst the springs have a slight change in ID though the coils,thus causing them to catch under compression..

have rang around all the local suppliers i use, but simply the spring diameter seems to be somewhat between 2 1/4 and 2 1/2.

They were bought as 2 1/2" springs… but they are 2 3/8 “ ID..
