You can wire this into the rear light cluster - I used a diode and a switch - I'll see if I have the pictures :)

Another one is to wire the centre brake light as the fog too :) Kris's method sounds better though as you have all the lights working.

A few pictures of the modification I did to get the rear fog light into the light cluster...

Picture of the original vs the later spec rear light cluster

Another picture of the rear lights. Note that the connections into the housing are orientated slighty differently, but the original loom still fits without modification :)

Picture with a small section of the loom wrapping removed to expose the wires...

Modify the wiring similar to this - note the fused 12V supply. The rear lamp draws 1.7A. I fused the supply at 5A.

This mod means you can run the inner lights as switchable fog lights, whilst keeping all the brake lights and without illuminating the "bulb blown" indication in the dash :)

Cheers for the pics mate but im i right in thinking tht you only need one reverse light on the backend for an mot?
just i would rather just have the 1 fog and just use the origional bulb mount for the reverse light with the aftermarket switch wiring or am i barking up the wrong tree ?

Hally, you're barking up the wrong tree :P

All lights are available, the only difference is that the 2 inner lights become switchable fog lights.

No lights are removed or altered
