I'm looking at putting some braided lines on the 4, but have a slight technical issue. The LTSA (Land Transport Saftey Authority) here in NZ have decreed that braided hoses are 'illegal' unless they conform to certain standards (TUV etc). Not much of an issue there but the crux of the matter is that they must have 'type approval' clearly visible on the lines themselves. I contacted Goodridge direct and they don't supply their ST205 braided hoses with these markings (usually a yellow 'band' with markings). Only other option I have is to get some made locally, but they'll need some for a pattern.
Now, if I'd had any sort of a brain, I'd have done this while the car was off the road with the engine build
So what I'm looking for is a used set of OEM lines. Anyone done the swap anhd have a spare set lying around they'd care to sned over in return for some beer tokens
