Been jumping about a little bit but mainly electrics ...
Car wouldn't start for a while but doing some checks I found the ignitor wire had broken and so that was an easy fix in the end. It allowed me to validate the installation of the ST205 ECU and wiring but as it was Paul Bartolo that did it (some may remember him) I didn't have any worried as it was a superb job ... Reading so many articles on how others had done it I can see Paul took his own approach ...
I tidied up the loom a bit to remove redundant wires and to get my head round where everything went, what sensors I have and where they go to the dash etc. all in readiness to install the stack dash and warning light cluster I have.
Also I had bought a Coralba trip computer which needed wiring up as it came without a harness, these are normally £150 but I made one up after finding the wiring pin-out which is VERY hard to get hold of - probably for the reason you can make a cable up yourself for a couple of quid !!! I have a 3 wire speed sensor (and various others) so that should be OK too ...
Finally I have started to install the stack dash which looks very easy due to the loom being fully self contained. I will now not splice into the main loom to pick up sensor inputs but rather use the full stack look to pickup from the engine sensors - this way both wiring systems can remain independent ...
Some pics then for anyone following ...
