st205 gt4 springs compared to a regular celica gt or gts, i have trd struts on the rear of my gt4 and want to lower it. My question is are they the same springs as the non turbo gt etc? i only need rear and dont want to pay $300 for gt4 springs when i can get regular celica springs for $150, anyone know if the springs/struts are the same?

thanks

Hi Simon,

you can easily compare part numbers at this homepage

http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/

iirc you can buy TRD springs by paire, which means you should can get just the rear ones, i would ask fensport as a friend of mine bought a set a month ago

I don't know the difference in spring rates between a GT4 and GT but logic would say that you would need a higher rate spring on the GT4 as the rear diff, driveshafts and prop shaft will all combine to make the rear heavier than the Celica GT. It may not be a huge difference but you may find if you fit GT springs that they sag over time.

Different length struts & springs on the n/a ST20x compared to the GT4 - completely incompatible.
